Privacy

Recipe Signal privacy

Recipe Signal helps people and software agents discover attributed recipe metadata while preserving links to original publishers.

Recipe data

Recipe Signal indexes factual recipe metadata such as title, cuisine, timing, publisher, source URL, and comparison criteria. It does not present itself as the recipe author and does not copy full recipe instructions into the public index.

API and MCP usage

The public API and MCP endpoint are read-only and do not require an account. Requests may be processed for routing, abuse prevention, reliability, and aggregate usage measurement. The service is designed to preserve source attribution in downstream answers.

Infrastructure

Recipe Signal runs on hosted web infrastructure and may use platform logs for reliability, security, and abuse prevention. No payment information or user account profile is required to use the public discovery endpoints.
